Start Setup

Set Up Your TimeFrame

Setup takes about 5–10 minutes. Have your phone or computer and home Wi-Fi password ready.

1. Connect to Power

Connect the included USB-C cable to TimeFrame, then plug it into a compatible USB-C power adapter.

2. Connect Your Phone or Computer

Open your Wi-Fi settings and select the TimeFrame-XXXX network shown on the device.

Enter the password displayed on screen. If the setup page does not open automatically, enter the web address shown on TimeFrame into your browser.

3. Connect to Home Wi-Fi

Open your Wi-Fi settings and select the TimeFrame-XXXX network shown on the device.

4. Create or Access Your Account

Create an account or log in using the six-digit code sent to your email. You can also name your device so it is easy to identify later.

5. Choose Your Collection

Select the collection you want TimeFrame to display. Some collections may include additional options, such as a translation, version, topic, or subcategory.

6. Personalize Your Display

Choose your font, text size, time format, and how often the content changes. Use the live preview to review your selections.

Troubleshooting

TimeFrame won't connect to Wi-Fi

Double-check your password and confirm that a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection is available. Moving TimeFrame closer to your router may also help.

The display is not updating / content is not changing

Press the power button to turn your device off. Wait 10 seconds. (Note: when turning the power off, content on the screen will not disappear.) Press again to turn it back on. Wait one minute and content will begin updating.

TimeFrame is frozen or unresponsive
  1. Press the power button to turn your device off. Wait 10 seconds. (Note: when turning the power off, content on the screen will not disappear.) Press again to turn it back on. Wait one minute and content will begin updating.
  2. Plug in your device if it has run out of power (try a different power outlet if that doesn’t work). 
  3. Wait 1 minute and try again. Do a Factory Reset if this doesn’t work.
  4. Contact support if the issue persists.
TimeFrame won't turn on or charge
  1. Press the power button to turn your device off. Wait 10 seconds. (Note: when turning the power off, content on the screen will not disappear.) Press again to turn it back on. Wait one minute and content will begin updating.
  2. Plug in your device if it has run out of power (try a different power outlet if that doesn’t work).  
  3. Wait 1 minute and try again. Do a Factory Reset if this doesn’t work.
  4. Contact support if the issue persists.
